After School Program

We are so lucky to partner with Collective for Youth, Omaha Public Schools, Kids Can, and Completely Kids to serve the youth of Omaha metro area.

Omaha Girls Rock has the privilege of working with Omaha Public Library and Why Arts to teach students about the impact of women throughout history and the world. In our collaboration, made possible by The Sherwood Foundation and Collective for Youth students read from Brazen: Rebel Ladies Who Rocked the World by Penelope Bagieu and synthesize their learning with visual and musical creations. Students make personal connections to the individuals they read about and recognize how they can use their voice to make a difference in their world.
