Our programs provide safe spaces for creative expression and empowerment. At OGR, we prioritize collaboration and we prioritize leading with our values towards liberation. We hope that you join us!

WHAT WE OFFER THE OMAHA-METRO →

    instrument instruction

    One-on-one or small group instrument lessons for students. Youth, teens, and adults work closely with experienced music instructors to build skills and gain exposure to diverse genres and artists. All levels are welcome.

    Gear & Instrument Loan

    Our Gear & Instrument Loan program allows anyone to rent instruments and related gear for practice and/or performance. Whether you’re taking lessons with us or hosting an event—reach out!

    After School Programming

    Working in partnership with Kids Can, Completely Kids, Omaha Public Schools, and other locally-based service organizations, OGR provides music education programs to students in the comfort of schools and community centers.

    Summer Camp

    Omaha Girls Rock Camp is a week-long program featuring instrument instruction, workshops, songwriting/band practice, live performances by visiting artists, and a showcase concert. No musical experience necessary! Now for girls+ ages 4-18yo.

Community Co-Labs

In addition to our youth programming, we also seek partnerships and collaborations that work to uplift the voices of artists and youth in our community! We are proud to collaborate with Benson First Friday, Maha Music Festival, Outlandia Music Festival, Union for Contemporary Arts, Inclusive Communities, Girls, Inc, Why Arts, and Nebraska Writers Collective.
